Clevedon Retirement Village
Ben Rhydding Drive, Ben Rhydding, Ilkley, Yorkshire
Clevedon Retirement Village is situated off Ben Rhydding Drive to the southeast of the village and consists of 98 flats with communal facilities completed in 2011.
Ilkley lies on the south bank of the River Wharfe in Wharfedale and has long been settled. Archeological artefacts are found from the Bronze Age and it is thought that The Twelve Apostles Stone Circle was built more than two thousand years ago. The Romans, Anglo-Saxons and Normans have all left their mark but it was not until the 17th and 18th centuries that the town came to prominence with the discovery of its healing waters. Ilkley's rural surroundings and beautiful countryside attract walkers and cyclists all year round.
Facilities include a resident manager and alarm service, lift, residents' lounge, dining room, restaurant, guest facilities, hobby room, activities room, cafe, hairdressing salon, swimming pool, library and garden.
Ilkley is about 11 miles north of Bradford and about 15 miles southwest of Harrogate. Otley is about six miles and Keighley eight miles. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is to the northwest.
