East Moor Park

Cuffern, Pembrokeshire

East Moor Park will on completion consist of sixty-five three bedroom retirement cottages mostly single storey with leisure facilities and a resident warden. There are no occupancy restrictions save for a planning condition requiring owners to vacate their homes for at least one four day period a year. The development is about a mile east of the village of Roch down some quiet country lanes. The village has a Post Office.

Roch is an original Anglo-Saxon settlement now built around the 13th century castle which is set upon a crag of Rhyolite. It is situated a little over a mile from the coast and St Brides Bay with its sandy beaches and rugged cliffs forming part of The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The area is famed for its natural beauty and as a  land of mystery and enchantment. Not far are the Presili Mountains from where the ancient Britons dragged and floated  the ‘bluestones‘ to Salisbury where they reputedly form the inner ring.

Roch is situated close to the coast  just off the A487 St David‘s Road about seven miles north west of Haverfordwest. St Davids is about nine miles and Fishguard sixteen miles. Pembroke is eighteen miles. Fast trains to Bristol from Haverfordwest take a little over three hours.
