Knowles Green

Westfield Road, Bletchley, Buckinghamshire

Knowles Green is situated off Westfield Road within walking distance of the shops and station and consists of 15 properties.

Bletchley is Anglo-Saxon in origin and probably derives its name from ' Blaecca's glade', first appearing in manorial rolls in the 12th century. It lies about three miles southeast of Milton Keynes and just over four miles from Junction 13 of the M1 motorway. It is now of course much smaller than its planned neighbour, Milton Keynes, founded in 1967. Bletchley remained a small village for much of the middle ages eventually developing into a town with the coming of the railways in the 19th century.

Facilities include an alarm service, laundry and garden.

Access: Milton Keynes is situated just off Junction 14 of the M1 motorway about 16 miles north-west of Luton and about 12 south-east of Northampton. Bedford is 14 miles and Bletchley four miles. Fast trains to London (Euston) take less than forty minutes.
