Queensmead : Queensmead is a delightful small development of retirement cottages close to the centre of the village. It was completed in 1995 by Priestmere Developments and altogther there are just 10 two and three-bedroom properties.

Shere : Shere is thought to derive its name from 'the bright or clear stream' and is set on the River Tillingbourne under the North Downs. It is very attractive with its early English to Norman church in the centre of the village surrounded by old cottages. There are several shops and places of interset to visit nearby including Newlands Corner on the road to Merrow which has spectacular views across the Weald and the South Downs. Nearby is Albury Park with its famous deserted Saxon church.

Facilities : There is an emergency alarm service and attractive gardens and the development is close to the centre of the village.

Access: Shere is about four miles southeast of Guildford just off the A25 and about three miles from Shalford. Gomshall is about a mile and Dorking six miles.
