Cherry Tree Court
Havelock Road, Warsash, Hampshire
Cherry Tree Court is a delightful small development of just thirteen one- and two-bedroom retirement homes in an attractive single building built in 1990. The development looks like a large single house with off street parking. It has attractive gardens to the rear. There is a visiting scheme manager an emergency alarm system in each apartment and lift.
The Locks Heath District Centre with its everyday shopping and community facilities is within a mile drive.
Warsash is a delightful waterside yachting village with good local shops about three miles west of Fareham. It overlooks the lower Hamble which at this point is a wide stretch of river with a mainly shingle beach and because of strong tides there is no safe bathing. The car park stands on a former lobster pound from where there is an attractive walk to the old smuggling centre of Hill Head, past the Hook Park Nature Reserve and the mouth of the River Meon. The nature reserve is a silted up inlet from the sea and old salt workings.
Facilities: These include a visiting scheme manager and an emergency alarm system in each apartment and lift. There are attractive gardens and off street parking.
Warsash is on the south coast about three miles from Junction 9 of the M27. Fareham is three miles to the east and Southampton about ten miles. Bishops Waltham is nine miles and Wickham seven miles. Fast trains from Southampton to London take approximately an hour and a half.
