Horsley Place

High Street, Cranbrook, Kent

Horsley Place consists of 26 one and two-bedroom apartments just off the high street in Cranbrook completed in 2015.

Cranbrook was known as Cranebroca in the 11th century and probably derived its name from 'Brook frequented by cranes or herons'. In the 13th century the town was granted a charter to hold a market and in the next century became famous for its cloth making. Elizabeth I is reputed to have walked along a mile-long piece of Cranbrook Grey and by then 'Cranbrooke' was a busy commercial centre and according to Speed one of the largest towns in the county.

Facilities include a visiting manager and community alarm service, lift, lounge, guest suite and gardens.
